剧情：
约翰（凯文·贝肯 Kevin Bacon 饰）和海伦（凯利·普雷斯顿 Kelly Preston 饰）结婚多年，感情一直十分要好，两人共同将两个孩子布兰登（Stuart Lafferty 饰）和卢卡斯（乔丹·加勒特 Jordan Garrett 饰）养育成人，一家四口的生活可谓是幸福美满。 某日，约翰载着布兰登，开车行驶在回家的道路上，两人将车暂时停在了一间加油站处，殊不知这一举动彻底改变了他们的命运。在加油站，布兰登遇见了乔（马特·欧莱瑞 Matt O'Leary 饰），后者是黑帮领袖比利（加内特·赫德兰 Garrett Hedlund 饰）的弟弟，拥有着和哥哥一样凶残冷酷的个性，约翰脑海中有关儿子最后的影像，是他倒在血泊之中的模样。重重波折之后，法院释放了乔，因为凯文决心亲手替儿子报仇，曾经平凡而又和善的男人，义无反顾的踏上了一条充满了暴力和鲜血的道路。
